My wife and I like good food, we do a good job of eating healthy and both enjoy cooking. So when we go out it has to be pretty damn good to impress us, or we'd be better off eating at home. Spokane, even in the pre-downtown being cool days, had some good restaurants and now there are several solid options for dining out.
We are long time fans of Luna, they went through some ups and downs over the last few years, getting away from what they do best. I am happy to say they are back in a groove. Consistently great food, menu variety, great wine list, warm and knowledgeable staff. What sets Luna apart from most Spokane establishments is the atmosphere. It has a very European feel, creating the complete experience. Luna also has a great outdoor patio for summer.
Some of our other favorites, and more to come on these in the future, are:
Moxie, Latah Bistro, Mizuna, Wild Sage, Picabu Bistro, Gordy's
So let's hear people's favorites..What's Good Spokane?

Intro:
What's Good Spokane?...I've been a "Spokie", with a 4 year San Diego Hiatus, since 1996..Spokane has really grown up in the last 13 years, slowly developing a tinge of culture..with that, some great places to eat, drink, and recreate have emerged.
The main focus of this blog is to highlight some of the "Good" places, things, and people in and around Spokane. I am not an expert on anything, but I think I have a decent read on good food, good wine and beer, who makes a good cocktail, and, like most, enjoy staying current on what's fun in Spokane.
